Our Founder

Jackie grew up in Massachusetts and spent every summer of her youth in Chatham.

In 2006 she left home to study Anthropology and Art History in New York City, where she discovered yoga for the first time with her college roommate. She has been practicing ever since — in studios, shalas, and ashrams across the world, while building a career in fine art and collectible design that took her from New York to Buenos Aires, Hong Kong, and London.

After nearly 20 years of living in vibrant cities, Jackie made a deliberate choice to go deeper. Yoga, which had always been a practice, became a calling. She left London to travel to South Asia — completing her teacher training in India, exploring Ayurvedic wellness in Sri Lanka, and studying sound healing in Nepal. Upon returning to the West, she found a way to honor both side of herself — weaving together her love of beauty, art, and design with a deep commitment to wellness and community.

With formal training in Hatha, Ashtanga, pranayama, and meditation, Jackie brings a holistic, heart-centered approach to her teaching — balancing structure with softness, and never losing her fun-loving, lighthearted spirit.

In 2024 she launched Chatham Yoga, rooted in the place she has always considered home. In 2027 she will host her first international retreat in Sri Lanka — a destination that holds deep personal meaning and feels like the perfect expression of everything she loves: nature, yoga, wellness, authenticity, and culture.
